Heritage at Home Against Rim of the World in Playoffs

Undefeated Heritage High School was seeded No. 2 in the Inland Division playoff bracket and will be at home against Rim of the World of Lake Arrowhead Friday night in the first round of the playoffs.

The Patriots (10-0) will be heavy favorites against the Fighting Scots, who are 5-5 overall after finishing third in the San Andreas League. Heritage has won a state-best 20 consecutive games dating back to early last season. After winning the CIF Southern Section Central Division title last fall, Heritage and the rest of the Sunbelt League was moved into the Inland Division this year.

Heritage is coming off a 56-7 rout of Lakeside, keeping its all-time Sunbelt League record perfect at 25-0. Rim of the World won its last three league games after an 0-2 start to get into the playoffs.

Friday's game begins at 7 p.m. in Marion Ashley Stadium on the Heritage High campus.
