Cherry Hills Club to Honor Their Own Veteran Residents

The Elizabeth Hospice and Cherry Hills Club Senior Living will host a ceremony to honor veterans residing at Cherry Hills.

Purple Heart recipient and retired Navy corpsman, Red Ramos, will emcee the ceremony, which will be held Nov. 12, at 2:15 p.m. at the Cherry Hills Club. A vocalist and a trumpet player will also lead a sing-along of patriotic songs.

“It is a privilege to recognize the veterans’ contributions and let them know their service to our country is appreciated and not forgotten,” said Jan Jones, president and CEO of The Elizabeth Hospice.

Due to declining health, many of the Club's residents are unable to attend Veterans Day ceremonies. This event is to bring the ceremony to them and let them know that their service has not been forgotten.
