Mayoral candidate Paul Wiggins today confirmed his attendance at the Menifee 24/7 Candidates Forum, scheduled for Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. in the campus theater at Paloma Valley High School.
All but one of the eight candidates for Menifee City Council positions have confirmed their attendance. District 2 council member Tom Fuhrman is dealing with personal issues following two deaths in the family and has not finalized his plans.
Both incumbent Mayor Scott Mann and challenger Wiggins (left) will be at the event, in addition to the following candidates running for two other city council seats in the Nov. 4 election:
District 2:
John Baker
Sue Kristjansson
Matt Liesemeyer
District 4:
John Denver (incumbent)
Gloria Sanchez
The event is free and open to the public. This is an important opportunity for residents to hear first-hand from candidates on key issues facing the City of Menifee.
Readers are invited to submit questions to be considered for that evening. No questions or comments from the audience will be allowed that night, so this is your opportunity to pose a question in advance to one or all of the candidates.
