Menifee 24/7 is completing updates to our website design and expansion of our staff to better serve our readers. This should be completed by the weekend. Meanwhile, we appreciate your continued patience while we convert content, add sections, train new staff and take care of all the details involved in such a big project.

Many new sections have been added to the home page and still are being updated with new content, even though some of the archived material published previously still shows on the main screen. We will also be rearranging the order of some of the panels to make it as easy as possible for readers to find what they need.

We have a relatively small staff and we rely on advertising to provide this service free to our readers. In recent days, there has been an imbalance between news content and advertising because of ads we are contracted to provide and news coverage that has been impacted by the web conversion needs. Especially on our Facebook page, you will notice an inordinate number of ads compared to news stories recently.

We hope you will continue to patronize our advertisers, who make it possible for us to stay in business. At the same time, we appreciate the patience you have shown as we get back to "business as usual" on the editorial side over the next few days.
