"Everything from this store is from the Thrift Shop, which supports the Community Cupboard," Thrift Shop Director, Cheryl Hussey said. "We decided to bring all the holiday stuff down here, so it was better displayed and easier to shop."
The new location features a variety of items for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Everything from costumes and decorations for Halloween, Thanksgiving decorations, and Christmas trees and all the trimmings are available for purchase.
"It's a pop-up store that will be here until January 1st," Hussey said.
The Holiday shop will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., but that could change based on the demands of business.
When asked about the selection of holiday goods the store had in stock, Hussey said "We have probably 300 totes of Christmas stuff to still put out and lots more to come."
If you are interested in helping out, donations are always accepted by the Holiday Shop and the Thrift Shop. The proceeds from the purchases are used to benefit the food program that feeds 1200 people each month.
