Color: Tri-color (mostly white with black patches/specks and tan on 2 legs)

Micky's Story: Micky appears to be a Rat Terrier Chihuahua Mix who weighs about 17 pounds. He has been neutered, vaccinated and dewormed. He's also microchipped, crate trained and house trained. Micky is looking for a new home because his owner could no longer keep him. He’s used to being an inside dog and is well behaved in the house. Micky is an active little dog who is also a great companion and lap dog. He’s friendly and gets along well with other dogs and cats. Micky is a very nice, loving dog!!!

Adoption details: Adoption fee $75, cash only, which is to help reimburse for a portion of expenses of dog rescue and rehabilitation. Adoption contract required.

Location: Quail Valley/Menifee, Southwest Riverside County. Local adoptions only; within a 75 mile radius because they deliver the animal to its new home to do a home check. They are looking for adopters who are willing and able to make a lifetime (10+ years) commitment to the care of this pet.

Color: Black/brown short coat

Contessa's Story: Contessa is a beautiful young Doberman Pinscher Mix who weighs about 65 pounds. She has been spayed, vaccinated and dewormed. She is microchipped, housetrained and crate trained. Gorgeous Contessa is a very loving, intelligent and active dog. She is obedient and knows basic commands. She gets along well with other dogs and loves to play with other large dogs. (She plays too rough with small dogs.) She’d probably do best in a home with another large dog to play with and have as a companion. She does not get along with cats. She loves water and the wading pool. Contessa is a high energy dog and needs daily mind stimulation and exercise such as running, jogging, playing and human interaction. She is looking for a home where she will be part of an active family with an experienced dog owner who knows and understands the Doberman breed.
