It's Football Friday! Heritage on the Road, Paloma at Home

Quarterback Brett Virgil will lead the Heritage High Patriots tonight at Temescal Canyon in a bid to remain unbeaten.

The Heritage High School football team will try to remain unbeaten tonight at 7 when the Patriots (2-0, 7-0) play at Temescal Canyon (2-0, 3-4) in a Sunbelt League game.

Heritage, last year's CIF champion, owns the state's longest active winning streak at 17 consecutive victories. The Patriots beat Perris 35-7 last week. Temescal Canyon defeated Lakeside, 27-8.

Paloma Valley (1-1, 4-3) will be at home tonight at 7 for a league game against Perris (0-2, 5-2). The Wildcats lost to Elsinore last week, 31-27.

Santa Rosa Academy (0-2, 1-4-1) will paly tonight at 7 at Calvary Murrieta (2-0, 5-2).
