Heritage High School Athletes of the Week

Each week of the school year, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Heritage High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select one athlete based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are the Heritage High School Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 13-19:

Kristen Briseno took fourth place overall in the girls varsity Sunbelt League cross country meet Oct. 15. Victor Raygosa took 19th place overall in the boys varsity meet.

Alana Navarrette continued her solid play for the girls tennis team.

Quarterback Brett Virgil passed for 162 yards and two touchdowns in the football team's 35-7 win over Perris Oct. 17.

Elisapeta Taoete was selected for her accomplishments with the Patriots girls volleyball team.

These athletes will be eligible for selection as Heritage High School's Athletes of the Month, which will be announced the first week of November.
