Authorities Search for Home Invasion Suspect

Authorities are searching for a male, who broke into a home located in the unincorporated area of French Valley.

On Oct. 23, at 12:30 p.m., residents of a home on the 30800 block of Olympia Rose Dr. heard a knock at their front door, but did not answer the door when they determined that they did not recognize the man. The residents locked themselves inside an upstairs bedroom and called the Riverside Sheriff's Department for assistance.

With the deputies on their way to the home, the residents heard glass break downstairs and observed the man standing in their home.

The man then fled in a full-size silver sport utility vehicle.

The suspect is described to be a black male adult, approximately 18 to 20 years old, 5'9", medium build, and was wearing a white t-shirt and black pants. He was wearing a pair of eye glasses with a distinctive leopard print temples (side arms) according to the Sheriff's report.

Responding deputies were unable to locate the suspect and are asking anyone with information on the crime or suspect, to call the Southwest Sheriff's station at 951-696-3000.
