Arts Council to Honor Artist of the Month Recipients

The Menifee Arts Council will be holding an event to celebrate over 20 Artists of the Month recipients.

Artist of the Month awardees are selected for their creativity in their selected field of art and their efforts to bringing the arts to the city of Menifee.

Kenneth Durante, Lake Manager of Menifee Lakes and Beach Club will be honored with the Arts Council Menifee's "Ambassador of the Arts" award in recognition of his role in the "Artist in the Park" summer art shows in conjunction with the Menifee Lakes' "Music in the Park" concerts.

The reception will be held Nov. 2, at the Kay Ceniceros Community Center from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. It is free to the public and refreshments will be served. There will be a "Viewer's Choice" selection from the Art Gallery artwork on display at the event.
