Soccer Players Compete for Awards in Region 820 Play

The fall soccer season for AYSO Region 820 in Menifee is underway and will continue into November. Youth ages 4-18 are competing and, by league rules, are guaranteed playing time in every game.

Qualifying U8 teams may participate in the Commissioners Cup at the end of the season, according to the organization's website. This is a two-day event the weekend following game 10. It is a first loss elimination tournament and teams should be prepared to play up to three games a day.

Qualifying U10 though U14 teams may participate in the Regional Playoffs in November. The first-place team in each division will move on to the Area Playoffs.

First-, second- and third-place trophies will be awarded to all qualifying Regional playoffs winners in Divisions U10, U12, and U14.
