Murrieta Irish Festival Offers Food, Drink, Music Galore

The Mahones entertained guests Friday night as Get Shamrocked opened its three-day run.

The "Get Shamrocked" Irish Festival continues today at Town Square Park in Murrieta, offering guests a variety of live musical entertainment, food from a host of vendors and all kinds of beverages.

Today's session lasts until 9 p.m. and features lives bands such as The Bog Hoppers, Humble Hooligans, Young Dubliners and The Real McKenzies. Guests listen to the bands from the grass area in front of the outdoor stage, so you are advised to bring lawn chairs and a blanket.

Today's session is open to adults only. Children are invited to the Sunday session, which runs from noon to 6:30 p.m.
