Sleepy's Story: Sleepy is a handsome classic Maine Coon Mix with a coat that is swirl tabby with white on his chest and paws and sleepy green eyes. Breed: Shih Tzu Mix
Age: 16 months
Color: Black/white
Suzi's Story: Suzi had been running the streets and was attacked by a neighborhood dog when she was rescued and hospitalized for treatment of her wounds. In addition, she was covered in ticks (her head was solid ticks) and also pregnant! She gave birth to 4 puppies, one of which was stillborn, on June 27, 2014. Suzi did a great job as a mother and her puppies have been adopted. Now it is time for Suzi to find a good home of her own. She appears to be a Shih Tzu mix with a naturally spiked coat that is mostly black with a little white on tips of paws, tail, chest and a streak on her snout. She weighs about 13 pounds. She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and is house trained and crate trained. Suzi is a good little companion dog who is very loyal and protective. Needless to say, she was neglected and has never had a good home and, therefore, does not trust strangers. It will take her a little while to get to know you and trust you. Suzie is looking for an experienced and understanding owner who wants to give her a second chance at a good home and happy life.
