Heritage High School Athletes of the Week: Sept. 30

Each week of the school year, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Heritage High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select one athlete based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are this week's Heritage High School Athletes of the Week:

Cross country runner Victor Raygoza ran a personal best 17:39 at the Hemet Bulldog Invitational on Sept. 27. He placed 24th out of 148 runners.

Quentin Asberry plays defensive line and tight end for the Patriots football team, which defeated Etiwanda 15-14 last Friday. He had three three sacks in the game.

Cami Burnette and Christin McGrath are undefeated as a double team for the girls tennis team.

These athletes will be eligible for selection as Heritage High School's Athletes of the Month, which will be announced next week.
