DUI Patrol Results in 1 Arrest, 11 Arrest Warrants Served

One driver was arrested on suspicion of alcohol-related offenses and 11 arrest warrants were served during an enforcement program conducted by the Menifee Police Department on Sept. 27, according to a news release.

The patrol was conducted throughout the streets of Menifee from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. Officers sought out alcohol and drug-impaired drivers in the Department’s ongoing traffic safety campaign. This DUI saturation operation resulted in the following:

-- 62 vehicles were stopped
-- 25 drivers were given standardized field sobriety tests
-- 1 driver was arrested for DUI – alcohol
-- 11 arrest warrants were served
-- 3 drivers arrested and cited/released for driving with a suspended license

Funding for this program is from a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
