Police are seeking information related to a bank robbery in Temecula Friday morning, Aug. 1.
Temecula Police report that at about 11 a.m., an unknown male entered the US Bank in the 31900 block of Temecula Parkway, brandished a weapon at the employees and demanded money. The employees gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled from the bank.
As the suspect fled, he ran across Temecula Parkway and caused a significant traffic hazard, police said. He was last seen entering the parking lot near Applebee’s restaurant and the Ross Dress for Less business complex. No employees or customers were injured during the incident.
Officers from the Temecula Police Department arrived within minutes of the call and searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him. Surveillance photos from the bank were obtained.
The suspect is described as a white male adult, age 25-30, 5-foot-10, 160 pounds. He was wearing a black and gray baseball cap, dark short sleeve shirt, and blue jean pants.
