All lanes of the northbound 215 Freeway between Newport Road and McCall Boulevard will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Aug. 20-22 as crews continue construction on the widening of the freeway.
Northbound traffic will be re-routed off the freeway to the east on Newport Road, then north on Menifee Road and east on McCall back to the freeway. Trucks must continue on Menifee road north to Highway 74 before returning to the freeway.
There will also be lane closures on the northbound 215 between Scott Road and Newport Road and from McCall Boulevard to Nuevo Road from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Aug. 18-21. No detour will be necessary because at least one lane will remain open.
Times of these closures may be adjusted because all projects might not occur simultaneously, according to a new release.
Some lanes of the southbound 215 between Nuevo Road and Scott Road are subject to closure Aug. 18-21 from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. No detour will be necessary.
