Police Seeking Suspect in Lake Elsinore Murder Case

Lake Elsinore police are looking for the suspect in a murder committed Aug. 2 in that city.

At 9:29 pm, officers responded to a residence located in the 15000 block of Joy Road regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. Upon arrival, officers located a white male adult in the driveway in front of the location. The male victim had sustained at least one stab wound.

The male was transported to a regional medical center, but succumbed to his injuries. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Detectives from the Lake Elsinore Station and the Central Homicide Unit responded to the scene. No arrests have been made in this case. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Investigator Freeman from the Central Homicide Unit at 760-393-3530.
