A total of 53 drivers were cited for unsafe driving actions and two arrest warrants were served during a Motorist Safety Enforcement Operation conducted by the Menifee Police Department on Aug. 22, according to a news release.
Officers patrolled areas in the city where crashes frequently occur. They were specifically looking for motorists committing unsafe driving actions that lead to crashes.
