Jersey Mike's Subs Sets Sept. 3 Opening on Newport Road

The second of three food service locations to open in the Newport Towne Center on Newport Road west of Haun Road will be Jersey Mike's Subs, which is scheduled to open for business on Sept. 3.

Specializing in the same East Coast style submarine sandwiches made popular by Jersey Mike's since its opening in 1956, the Menifee location will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Jersey Mike's is also well-known for its butterscotch krimpets dessert cakes.

The first restaurant to open in the Newport Towne Center will be Five Guys Burgers and Fries on Tuesday, Aug. 26. Applebee's will open Sept. 8.
