Marala Scott will be the keynote speaker at the annual Humanity of Justice Foundation Polo Luncheon on Sept. 13 in Temecula.
Scott is an award-winning author, inspirational expert, Oprah's Ambassador of Hope and a survivor of child abuse. She speaks from the heart and inspires others with her life-changing words of faith and life-story. Scott has written numerous books including the No. 3 Amazon Best Seller "In Our House: Perception vs. Reality." Scott is also a recipient of a Congressional award for her humanitarian efforts.
The HOJF Polo Luncheon will take place at noon and be held at the Temecula Valley Polo Club, located on 38801 Los Corralitos Road in Temecula.
The event will include a polo match, lunch, cocktails, silent auction and great music. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the organization's website. hojf.org
All of the proceeds from this event will go directly to helping abused and neglected children in the area.
HOJF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit group of law enforcement and community leaders who support a diverse group of organizations and programs to prevent child abuse and neglect in Riverside County. HOJF does not focus on a single approach and has a 100 percent volunteer board and staff.
