Micky's Story: Micky appears to be a Rat Terrier Mix who weighs about 20 pounds. He has been neutered, vaccinated and dewormed. He's also microchipped, crate trained and house trained. Micky is looking for a new home because his owner could no longer keep him. He’s used to being an inside dog and is well behaved in the house. He’s a great companion and lap dog and loves to go for walks. He’s friendly and gets along well with other dogs and cats. Micky is a very nice and loving dog.

Agency: Rescue and Rehome, Inc., a small private nonprofit no-kill rescue.

Adoption details: Adoption fee is $75, cash only, which is to help reimburse for a portion of expenses of dog rescue and rehabilitation. Adoption contract is required.

Location: Quail Valley/Menifee, Southwest Riverside County. Local adoptions only within a 75 mile radius because they deliver the animal to its new home to do a home check. They are looking for adopters who are willing and able to make a lifetime (10+ years) commitment to the care of this pet.

Snow Queen's Story: Snow Queen was rescued last August with her litter of five 2-week old kittens from a gas station at a busy intersection. Of course, the adorable kittens were adopted long ago, but this beautiful, sweet young mother cat is still waiting to be adopted. Snow Queen did not have the best start in life, but she is deserving of a good home of her own. As with most cats, she’ll take a little time to warm up to you, get to know you and trust you. Snow Queen is regal looking and is healthy and has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. She’s also microchipped. This delightful cat would probably prefer a quiet home.
