Local Man Arrested on Suspicion of Rape at Menifee Residence

A local man was arrested July 8 on suspicion of rape and forced oral copulation at a residence in Menifee, police said today.

David Dawty Shui, 42, of Menifee was apprehended in Cerritos and was booked into the Southwest Detention Center. His bail is set at $250,000.

According to police, the incident occurred July 2 at a residence in the 31000 block of Eastridge Avenue in Menifee. The suspect is known to the victim, police said, but no other information about the victim or the case was released.
