A funeral for Matt Carp, the bicyclist who was killed when struck by a motorist last week, will be held this Friday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m. at Lamb's Fellowship Church in Lake Elsinore.
The ceremony will take place in the outdoor amphitheater at the church, located at 21901 Railroad Canyon Road. Guests are invited to dress casual. Bicyclists are welcome to ride there and wear their cycling attire, according to family members.
Carp, 55 and longtime resident of Menifee, died July 23 when the bike he was riding was struck by a car in the eastbound bike lane of Domenigoni Road.
