'Concert and Artist in Park' Event Will Continue July 26

Against the backdrop of a colorful sunset over Menifee Lake, the first summer "concert and artist in the park" event at La Paloma Park was a success July 12.

The event, sponsored by the Menifee Lake Homeowners Association and Arts Council Menifee, featured artist Kathy Fox's paintings and music by Shawn Jones.

The next scheduled event at the park -- located at Menifee Road and Bayport Lane -- will take place Saturday, July 26, featuring the artwork of photographer Ron Ciamaga and music by Little Lies, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band.

Future dates for concerts in La Paloma Park are Aug. 9 and 23. Details will be announced later.

The public is invited and is encouraged to bring chairs and refreshments to enjoy the evening.
