Three people were arrested on charges including possession of stolen property and evading arrest after a police pursuit in Lake Elsinore on Monday.
At about 10:30 p.m., a deputy attempted to make a traffic enforcement stop on a four-door, green Honda Accord. The vehicle was reported stolen earlier in the evening from Glendora. The vehicle fled and deputies pursued the stolen vehicle.
The pursuit ended at the intersection of Palomar Road and Skylark Drive in Lake Elsinore. The three occupants ran from the vehicle. Julio Rubalcava, 21, of Riverside, and Rogelio Arvizuo-Aguilar, 18, of Riverside, were taken into custody moments after running from the vehicle.
The driver of the stolen vehicle, Angel Rubalcava, 23, of Wildomar, was apprehended a short time later with assistance from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Aviation Unit and Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s K-9 Unit.
All three suspects were arrested and booked at the Southwest Detention Center for various charges including, possession of stolen property and evading arrest.
