Northbound 215 in Menifee Will be Closed Overnight June 18-20

News release from the City of Menifee:

Interstate 215 northbound from Newport Road to McCall Road will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights, June 18, 19 and 20, from 10 p.m. through 5 a.m. the following morning. Traffic will be re-routed east on Newport Road to Menifee Road, north to McCall and west back to the freeway. Trucks will be directed to continue on Menifee Road to Highway 74 west, which meets Interstate 215 north of Ethanac Road.

The freeway will be closed for overnight construction as part of the Interstate 215 Central Project to widen 12.5 miles of Interstate 215 between Scott Road in Menifee and Nuevo Road in Perris.

Please note the speed limit is reduced to 55 miles per hour in construction areas and traffic fines increase in construction zones. For more information, visit the project website at www.i215project.info.
