The Menifee Union School District has announced that a limited number of free registrations with the district's state-run preschool are available for those who meet specific income requirements.
The new state budget eliminates fees for part-time state preschool programs, making it possible for Menifee Preschool to offer these free enrollments. Priority is given to students based on age, with older students receiving priority for attendance.
If your child will be 4 years of age by Sept. 2, 2014, enroll now. Children who are 3 years of age by Sept. 2, 2014 will be prioritized by age and assigned to a class if space is available and to a waiting list when the program reaches capacity.
