A series of short plays created by local writers in Arts Council Menifee's "Pen to Production" spring session will be presented this Saturday, June 7, at the Center of Spiritual Living, 26805 Murrieta Road.
The program will begin at 10 a.m. The 10-minute vignettes created by the authors will be produced in Readers' Theater style. They are "works-in-progress" as the participants learn the skill of playwriting.
The history of Menifee is emphasized in a few of the stories and may be included in a larger production about Menifee to be performed in 2015. The public is welcome and admission is free.
