All northbound lanes of the 215 Freeway will be closed every night this week from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Newport Road and McCall Boulevard to facilitate work on the freeway widening project.
Motorists will be re-routed east on Newport Road to Menifee Road, north to McCall and west back to the freeway. For a map of the detour route, click here.
The work begins tonight and continues through Friday night. On Friday only, the closure will remain in effect an extra hour, until 6 a.m.
During the same hours, motorists will be re-directed on another detour between Highway 74 and Nuevo Road. That detour map can be found here. That closure will affect both northbound and southbound lanes.
