Police continue to seek three suspects who tied up a Canyon Lake resident and stole several items from his home, including his car, on May 7.
Officers from the Canyon Lake Police Department responded about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday to the report of a home invasion robbery at the 30000 block of Channel Way Drive. Upon arrival, officers determined that a white female adult knocked on the victim's door and asked the victim for assistance. At that time, two white male adults forced their way inside the residence, threatened the victim with weapons, and restrained the victim.
The suspects then ransacked the residence and took several items, including the victim’s 2012 Kia Sol, license plate 6WSW075. The suspects then left the location in the victim’s vehicle and in a blue compact vehicle. A short time later, the victim was able to free himself and contacted local police.
The Perris Station’s Burglary Suppression Team responded and took over the investigation. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is encouraged to contact the Perris Station at 951-210-1000.
