Firefighters contained a brush fire to 3 1/2 acres in Nuevo this afternoon, according to a Cal Fire news release.
The fire was reported at 1:14 p.m. in the 23400 block of Beech Street. Power lines were down in the area. Southern California Edison workers were working to make repairs to the power lines.
No injuries were reported.
