Brush Fire Near Lake Elsinore Contained to 6 Acres

Riverside County firefighters contained a brush fire in the Lake Elsinore area to six acres this morning.

The fire was reported Friday at 10 p.m. near the intersection of Macy Street and Orange Street in the foothills northwest of Ortega Highway. It was first reported by firefighters as a two-acre vegetation fire burning at a slow rate of speed.

There were no injuries or damage to structures reported.
