This Friday, April 11, you can see for yourself: Menifee's Got Talent!
More than 20 acts - singers, dancers and musicians - were selected by a special committee of Arts Council Menifee for this one special evening. Tickets are just $5, an amazing value you could calculate as just 25 cents per act.
From 7-9:30 p.m., they'll perform on Heritage High School's excellent stage, delivering a great show for the whole family. Talented youngsters include remarkable tap dancer Kylie Coppola and pianist Angelina Andreski. Delailah Huezo will sing "Tu, Solo Tu". Autumn Jones will demonstrate her impressive dancing skills.
Cole Acosta of Bell Mountain Middle School will play blistering electric guitar. Holly Jacks will sing Country with feeling. Tyrell Jones and Uriel Gomez will blow saxaphones.
Also, JustDefy (above photo) will put on exceptional group dancing, as will dancers from Paloma and Heritage High Schools. There are literally too many talented acts competing to list them all here.
In addition to those fine non-professionals competing for Best Singer, Best Dancer, Best Dance Group and other awards, this year's show includes some of Menifee's best professionals. Popular favorites Steve and Kat Sanders will perform, as will Micki Grunwald, Lady Walquer, Stuart Young and last year's winner, Nicole Farrell. Wrapping up the show will be local guitar phenomenon JR Reed (right) and his band.
Snacks, water and sodas will be available for just $1. Bring your friends and neighbors to see it all in person: Menifee's Got Talent.
Heritage High School's theater is located at 26001 Briggs Road (cross street Highway 74). Tickets are just $5. This event is presented by Arts Council Menifee.
