Students can now apply for a Business Degree program offered jointly by Mt. San Jacinto College and California State University San Marcos. The two universities are collaborating to offer students a program that will help them earn associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in business.
The Business Administration program starts this fall at MSJC Temecula Education Complex 2. This program will help students transition more easily from the community college level to the four-year university level.
"This innovative program will help MSJC students understand the trends of our local businesses," said Pat Schwerdtfeger, MSJC vice president of instruction. "The collaboration with Cal State San Marcos will save our students time and money and prepare them for jobs close to home."
Students will benefit from the program in a number of ways, including a non-impacted program, student support, community collaboration and guaranteed time to completion.
"This new location offers unique opportunities for students right here in Riverside County," said Mike Schroder, dean of extended learning and vice president of international programs at CSUSM.
This rigorous under-graduate program balances theory and application with a curriculum coordinated between MSJC and CSUSM. Students will complete their bachelor’s coursework with the "Senior Experience program"at CSUSM.
Students who are already prepared for college-level math and English and considering a degree in business should visit www.msjc.edu/CSUSMbusiness or call 951-487-3409 for more information on the program.
