A Menifee man died Friday from injuries suffered when he was struck by a car while riding a bicycle on Railroad Canyon Road in Canyon Lake, police said.
Conrad Pasco, 61, was identified by the Coroner's Office Saturday as the accident victim. According to a Sheriff's Department news release, the victim attempted to cross the eastbound lanes in the 31000 block of Railroad Canyon Road from the raised concrete median. He was struck by a gray Honda Civic in the number one lane.
Although Pasco was wearing a helmet, he sustained major head trauma and internal injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
