Three residents were displaced and an estimated $50,000 in damages was caused during a residential structure fire today in the 27300 block of Uppercrest Court in the Sun City community of Menifee.
Cal Fire responded at 11:58 a.m. and was able to contain the fire to the garage of the single-story residence by 12:38 p.m. No injuries were reported, but Red Cross assistance has been requested for the three displaced residents (two adult females, one adult male).
Five engine companies responded to knock down the blaze.
