Police Seek Help in Locating Missing Menifee Boy

Menifee Police are seeking the public's help in finding a child reported missing Wednesday night.

Police received a call about 9:30 p.m. that 12-year-old Nicholas Acosta was last at his residence on Copper Terrace around 6 p.m. Menifee police officers, with the assistance of a Riverside Sheriff’s bloodhound, were able to establish that Nicholas was in the area of the Alta Murrieta Sports Park in Murrieta around 9:30 p.m.

His whereabouts since that time are unknown. Nicholas takes medication to prevent seizures and is considered at risk, but foul play is not suspected at this time. His description:



Nicholas Oliver Acosta
Male white juvenile - 12 years old
4’10” tall, 95 pounds, brown hair and hazel eyes
May be riding a red BMX bicycle
