Animal’s Name: Cinnabon (BonBon)

Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix

Age: 3-1/2 years old

Color: Red and white with black freckles on muzzle

Cinnabon's Story: Last June, pregnant Cinnabon (BonBon) was abandoned on a commercial property and left to fend for herself for weeks. She was getting desperate and tried to crawl under a chain link fence. The chain around her neck got caught on the fencing and she was stuck out in the hot summer sun. Luckily someone saw her and rescued her. She had recently given birth and three puppies were found, but unfortunately, they were not so lucky because there were no surviving puppies. BonBon is healthy, weighs about 55 pounds, and has been spayed, vaccinated and dewormed. She is housetrained and crate trained. BonBon is well socialized with other dogs and loves people, belly rubs and the wading pool. She is active and has a high prey drive. She is smart, eager to please, obedient, good on leash, walks, and hikes and knows to sit for food and treats. BonBon is an awesome dog looking for an experienced owner/ family who has time to provide leadership, exercise, discipline and then affection.

Agency: Rescue and Rehome, Inc., a small private nonprofit no-kill rescue.

Adoption details: The adoption fee is $100, cash only, which is to help reimburse for the expenses of caring for the animal and getting it ready for adoption. Adoption contract required.

Location: Quail Valley/Menifee, Southwest Riverside County. Local adoptions only; within a 75 mile radius because we deliver animal to its new home to do a home check. We are looking for adopters who are willing and able to make a lifetime (10-15 years) commitment to the care of this pet.
