Two men were arrested on charges of burglary and vandalism early today after they were discovered at the scene of multiple break-ins in a business complex in Temecula.
Rayford Norris, 46, of Rubidoux (left) and Danny Harris, 50, of Santa Ana (below) were booked into the Southwest Detention Center on five counts each of commercial burglary and vandalism.
According to the Temecula Police Department, officers responded at about 3:50 a.m. to a burglary alarm at a business complex in the 27200 block of Madison Avenue. Responding officers deployed around the business complex and observed two male suspects attempt to flee from a business by running away on foot.
The suspects were detained by the responding officers as they attempted to hide under a nearby parked car. The investigation revealed three businesses had extensive property damage as the suspects attempted to gain entry into the building. Three of the businesses had been forcibly broken into by the suspects.
The location was checked for additional suspects; however, none were located. A surveillance camera video system captured the actions of the suspects and both men were arrested without incident.
