Arts Council Gallery, Open House Sunday at Kay Ceniceros

An afternoon of art, music, performing and poetry hosted by Arts Council Menifee is set for this Sunday, March 2, from 1-3 p.m. at the Kay Ceniceros Center.

The public is invited to visit the informational displays by the Literary, Performing Arts, Dance, Music and Visual Arts Divisions of Arts Council Menifee. Authors, poets, artists and photographers will be on hand. Mix and mingle while experiencing music by flutist Sylvia Griffith. A preview of Pen-to-Production and poetry will also be performed.

One can view the Art Gallery show, “Spring is Busting Out,” featuring artwork of artists and photographers in the Magnolia Room and vote for the Viewer’s Choice to be awarded from these pieces.

There will be refreshments at this free event and a free drawing for prizes donated by Painted Earth and BJ’s Restaurant. The Kay Ceniceros Center is located on Newport Road at Evans Road, Menifee. For additional information, contact 951-679-1822.
