A Hawthorne man was arrested today and charged with burglary but two other suspects are at large after an incident this morning in Wildomar.
According to the police report, officers were dispatched to the 33000 block of Wilson Street at 10:10 a.m. in response to the report of a residential burglary in progress. The reporting party told dispatch personnel they observed three black male adults force entry through the front door of the residence.
Within minutes, officers arrived on scene and detained one male subject fleeing the scene. A large pillowcase, containing a jewelry box and jewelry, was located nearby as well as two laptop computers. The subject detained by officers was identified as one of the involved parties by witnesses.
