Name: Roxie and Stryker

Breed: Roxie is a German Shepherd Mix and Stryker appears to be a Smooth Collie Mix.

Age: Both dogs are 4 years old.

Gender: Roxie is a spayed female and Stryker is a neutered male.

Their story: These loving dogs are looking for a new home because their family lost their house. This sweet duo was then passed around to other family members who did not have time for them. Roxie and Stryker were pretty much forgotten in the back yard. With today's busy lifestyles, this is an all too common occurrence, which is very sad and lonely for the animals. Both dogs, possibly brother and sister, are spayed and neutered respectively, vaccinated and dewormed. Roxie weighs about 65 pounds and Stryker weighs about 80 pounds. They are well behaved family dogs who are very loving and deserving of a good home where they will be part of the family. They are good with other dogs and kids. They have only had each other and are very bonded. We do not think they would do well if separated and, therefore, they are looking for a forever home together.

Agency: Rescue and Rehome, Inc., a small private no-kill rescue.

Adoption details: Adoption fee $150 for both, cash only, which is to help reimburse for the cost of getting the animals ready for adoption. Adoption contract required.

Location: Quail Valley/Menifee, Southwest Riverside County. Local adoptions only; within a 50 mile radius because we deliver animals to their new home to do a home check.
