Cub Scout Pack 444 Blue & Gold Banquet Set for Jan. 29

Menifee Cub Pack 444 will hold its annual Blue & Gold Banquet and Arrow of Light Ceremony this Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 6 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall Masonic Lodge, 27221 McCall Blvd. in Sun City.

Highlights of the Blue & Gold Banquet will include:

-- Arrow of Light Ceremony (Cub Scouts becoming Boy Scouts)
-- Banana Hammering Contest
-- Cub Scout Skits
-- Awards
-- Ice Cream Sundae Competition (judged by current and former Mayors of Menifee)
-- Silent Auction
-- Food

This Banquet is an important fundraiser to help needy Cub Scouts go to camp and to enrich children's lives through the Cub Scout program. Table sponsors, program advertising, silent auction items, and ticket sales are available for local businesses to be recognized for supporting their local Cub Scouting program.
