One woman died and and several other passengers were injured this afternoon when a tour bus overturned on Interstate 15 at Highway 76 near Fallbrook, according to CHP reports.
Traffic was backed up for at least two hours following the 2:30 p.m. crash, which closed two lanes of the 15 freeway. A SigAlert was issued.
Cause of the crash is under investigation. Officials do not know at this time whether rain was a factor.
Earlier in the day, one person was seriously injured when an RTA bus collided with a passenger vehicle on Highway 76 and Briggs Road near Heritage High School.
