All you have to do to enter is write in 200 words or less about your most memorable Menifee event of 2013. It can be a news story we're all familiar with or a simple act of kindness by a friend, neighbor or stranger. It can be something personal from your family or something that involved hundreds of local residents. But it must have some connection to Menifee, and it must have happened in the last year.

To have the best chance of winning, describe the event, why it is your most memorable Menifee moment, and what it means to you or what you learned from the experience. Email your entry to menifee247info@gmail.com and write "most memorable moment" in the subject line. One entry per person. Deadline for entries is today at 6 p.m.
