Police Seek Help in Locating Convicted Child Sexual Predator

The following is a bulletin from the San Diego County Sheriff's Department:

The Sheriff's Department wants your help in locating 58-year-old Joseph Vincent McCarron. An arrest warrant was issued for the convicted child sexual predator after he failed to appear for his trial verdict at Vista Superior Court on Nov. 13.

McCarron is believed to be ARMED AND DANGEROUS. If you see him, DO NOT confront him. Call 911. McCarron is known to frequent the Fallbrook and Rainbow areas.

Anyone with information on McCarron's whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Department at 858-565-5200. You can remain anonymous and be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Just call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
