Scruffy's Story: Scruffy is by no means scruffy in appearance, but that is his name. He's actually a very handsome purebred Papillon who weighs 12 pounds. He is healthy, neutered, vaccinated and recently groomed and trimmed. Scruffy is well behaved in the house and is housetrained and crate trained. He knows some commands, likes to play fetch and travels well in the car. He is used to being the only pet and would do well in a home without children or with older children. He is a nice, good little indoor companion dog.

Adoption Agency: Rescue and Rehome, a small private rescue located in the Quail Valley/ Menifee area and serving Southwest Riverside County. Animals are shown by appointment

Adoption Details: $200 cash adoption fee. An adoption contract is required. Local adoptions only within a 50 mile radius of Quail Valley/Menifee in Southwest Riverside County because they deliver the dog to its new home. They are looking for adopters who want to give a rescued animal a permanent home and give it a second chance at a good home and happy life. Adopters must be willing and able to care for the dog for its lifetime (15+ years).
