It's Football Friday! Heritage Home, Paloma Valley on the Road

Heritage High running back Isaiah Morrow had a big game against Paloma Valley last Friday. Tonight the Patriots host to Lakeside, while Paloma Valley plays at Temescal Canyon.

With just two weeks left in the regular season, Menifee's high school football teams continue their bid for top spots in the Sunbelt League and a CIF-SS playoff berth tonight.

Heritage High School is home tonight at 7 against Lakeside. The Patriots (3-0, 7-1) took over sole possession of first place in league with a 48-25 victory over Paloma Valley in the Menifee Bowl last week. Lakeside is 1-2 in league play and 2-6 overall. The Lancers beat Perris last Friday, 16-6.

Heritage still hasn't lost a Sunbelt League game since joining the league four seasons ago.

Paloma Valley, which slipped into second place in league, will play at Temescal Canyon. The Wildcats are 2-1 in league play and 7-1 overall. Temescal Canyon is 1-2 in league and 3-5 overall.
