It's Football Friday! Heritage, Paloma Both at Home Tonight

After having last week off, the Heritage and Paloma Valley High football teams open league play tonight, and both schools are at home.

Heritage (4-1) will play its first home game since the first week of the season, and it's Homecoming for the Patriots tonight. The opponent in the 7 p.m. game is Perris. The Panthers are 2-3 this season, losing a 41-6 decision to Citrus Valley in their last game.

Heritage's offensive leaders are running back Limihai Hifo (68 carries, 672 yards, 9 TDs), quarterback Brett Virgil (637 yards passing, 7 TDs) and running back Sione Takitaki (40 carries, 334 yards, 4 TDs).

Paloma Valley will put its 5-0 record on the line in a 7 p.m. home game against Elsinore, which is 2-3 after a 42-22 loss to Murrieta Valley.

The Wildcats are led by quarterback Brent Boehm (950 yards passing, 17 TDs), receivers Michael Valencia (14 catches, 270 yards, 9 TDs) and RJ Benz (15 catches, 217 yards, 4 TDs) and running back Demarco Prewitt (37 carries, 546 yards, 9 TDs).
